Current rates: Typically $1-2 per page or an hourly rate of $35, depending on the project.

Complimentary evaluation: I offer a complimentary evaluation and estimate for your project based on the level of proofreading/line-editing required. You’ll know the cost of the proofing and/or line-edit before I begin.
Credentials: I have fifteen years’ experience editing nonfiction projects for experts in their fields and fiction projects for both published authors and unpublished writers, as well as website content copyediting and proofing; I am an award-winning published novelist; I am a member of Romance Writers of America; I am a regional and national presenter of writers’ workshops. Detailed references happily provided upon request.
Turnaround time: 1 day to 4 weeks. Rushes can usually be accommodated depending on my schedule, though may generate a slightly higher fee.
Method: I can work via email with attachments using Microsoft Word’s Track Changes feature for electronic editing, or via regular mail (client pays postage) utilizing standard Proofreader’s Marks on hard copy.
